Bariatric Services offers free surgical weight loss information sessions for individuals interested in learning more about bariatric surgery. This class reviews the anatomy of the surgery, diet plan, lifestyle changes post-surgery, and a forum for you to ask questions.

Patients interested in the Lap Band System® and Orbera® should attend one of the Community Hamilton Pavilion sessions.

Community South - If you are a potential surgery patient, the session could last up to 3 hours.

It's a good thing, however, there still seems to be a lot of confusion about the details. And if there's one thing scammers like to take advantage of, it's confusion. We want to clear things up for you and teach you some good habits so those harassing scammers can't turn this good news into bad news.

Know the 10 Signs of Alzheimer's Disease provides attendees with an understanding of the difference between age-related memory loss and Alzheimer's and what to do if they or someone they know has signs of the disease. Attendees will view video footage of real people who are living with the early stages of dementia and their families addressing fears and myths associated with Alzheimer's disease.

This 2 1/2 hour class is for future parents, parents and grandparents. It is an American Heart Association Family & Friends course, taught by an AHA certified instructor. The hands-on instruction covers infant, child and adult CPR. Additional take-home materials from the American Academy of Pediatrics on the subject of Safety and Prevention are included.

This class meets one evening per week for 4 weeks. It is recommended for all first-time moms and dads/partners. The RN educator will cover the labor and birth process, relaxation and comfort, pain medication options, postpartum and newborn care. A tour of the maternity unit is included in this class, please do not register for a tour separately.

The AARP Smart Driver Program recognizes the need to help older adults improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents. The Driver Safety Program is offered to all motorists ages 50 and older. The 4-hour classroom refresher was the first and now the largest, nationwide comprehensive curriculum designed especially for older motorists. Course does not provide BMV credit towards points on license. Fee: $15 per AARP Member or $20 Per Non-AARP Member, please bring payment to class. Lunch provided.
