Using antibiotics the wrong way can cause bacteria to grow into superbugs, making infections much harder to treat. Join Dr. Nyria Villarreal, Infectious Disease Care, as she educates attendees about how to properly use antibiotics. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.

This 2 1/2 hour class is for future parents, parents and grandparents. It is an American Heart Association Family & Friends course, taught by an AHA certified instructor. The hands-on instruction covers infant, child and adult CPR. Additional take-home materials from the American Academy of Pediatrics on the subject of Safety and Prevention are included.

A SHIP representative will explain the A, B, C, and D's of Medicare; how to enroll, coverage and costs, and important questions to ask. SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) is Medicare's free and unbiased official counseling and information service.

Join us for a relaxing afternoon experiencing the wonders of the deep seas. You will be able to tour the Newport Aquarium, on your own visiting the shows, touch-pools, and endless tanks of sea life. Additional encounters or tours may be purchased at aquarium gate. Admission includes bus transportation, aquarium admission, and $10 in "Shark Bucks" to use for lunch at the onsite Sharkey's Café. Lots of walking involved, participants must be independent.
